Google that the $ 1,500 face computer is being showcased at select cities over the next few months, and you don’t even need to go to a terrible startup party. “You’ll be able to try on Glass, ask questions and chat with the Glass team in person,” the invitation explains. No word if the Coors Light Girls are going to appear.

Opening night kicks off in Durham, North Carolina on Oct. 5th at Research Triangle. The Verge notes that this might be one of the few times you can play with Glass before Google releases it into the wild at retail stores.
