Mattt Thompson – AFNetworking 2.0
We’re thrilled to have Mattt Thompson () back at the NY iOS Dev Meetup this month! Mattt will be giving us a sneak preview of AFNetworking 2.0, the latest version of his wildly popular and useful open source iOS networking library.
If you’re not yet acquainted with Mattt, he is a developer and designer working at Heroku in San Francisco, and the creator of AFNetworking, Helios, Postgres.app, and the wonderful NSHipster blog, along with a slew of other open source iOS projects.
This month, we’ll at the beautiful upstairs space at the New York Times, huge thanks to Véronique and Joseph from the Times for hosting us.
Heroku is very generously hosting an after-party starting at 9:30 p.m. Thursday at Beer Authority on the roof deck with food and drinks (thanks Tammy!) The address is 300 W. 40th Street, across from Port Authority. The after-party is sure to be a blast, and is open to everyone. Wristbands for drinks on the Heroku tab will be available to anyone with a Yes or Waiting List RSVP.
Note that Heroku is sponsoring Mattt’s trip out here to the east coast that week, and Mattt will be doing a couple of other events which you should definitely check out as well, including the infamous NSHipster Pub Quiz on July 30.
